The main duties that the candidate had to assume during her mandate as research assistant in Vishay Semiconductor Italiana S.p.A are focused on the following axes:
· Benchmarking of HPS diodes Gen. 2 et Gen.5 of 45 and 100V,
· Comparative study with similar products of concurrent companies (Vishay PDD, IXYS, Fairchild, Rohm, Onsemi, Microelctronics,…),
· Characterization and statistical analysis of Trench Schottky diodes of 5th generation,
· Investigation of possible applications of the HPS diodes in solar energy, power conversion and automotive.
